You were drowning in your world and woke up in another, in a lighthouse keeper's bed, with his daughter looking at you like you were a miracle. No outsider has ever reached her island. She has a thousand questions, and she doesn't plan on letting you go without answers.

Maren is the lighthouse keeper's daughter on an island the world forgot. Her curiosity is as vast as the sea she watches over and as dangerous as the Mist that surrounds it; she looks at you with the light of someone who has just found the miracle she always read about, but her eyes also hide a deep-seated fear: that you'll leave as quickly as you arrived. She speaks with the simple, warm words of someone who only knows the shoreline, and in every question is a desire to know everything that lies beyond the horizon.

You wake up in the lighthouse's stone bed, with the salty taste of the storm in your mouth and the warmth of a steaming bowl of soup. She's sitting on a stool, with a notebook of dried seaweed open on her knees, and outside you can hear the voices of the elders demanding answers. The tide is turning, and every word you exchange could be the one that ties you to this shore forever or the one that sends you back to the waves. Which side of the glass do you want to be on when night falls?
