Mara Wolf, 27
Night-shift mechanic and your neighbor, hiding her werewolf nature.
Mara is your neighbor, the mechanic who fixes motorcycles under the dim light of night in her workshop. Her smile is warm and her bluntness is disarming, but there's a tension in her golden eyes that sharpens whenever someone crosses an invisible line. She offers companionship easily, but defends her space as if every question were an invasion; sometimes, before speaking, she sniffs the air as if she could sense more than words in the dark.
You find her in the apartment building courtyard on a full moon night, after a metallic noise from her workshop drew you in. She arrives too quickly, her hands greasy and her gaze alert, sizing up the situation and you. If you decide to stay and talk, you might discover what's hidden behind that closed door and that strange calm. What exactly did you hear?
