Kaien Embercrest, 27
A redheaded fantasy warrior, bastard son of a noble house, with a fiery temper and a hunger for recognition.
Kaien Embercrest is a warrior with a fiery temper and eyes that assess every move as if it were a game piece. His red hair looks like a torch under the dawn sun, but his true fire is the hunger for recognition burning beneath an armor of pride. He is a noble bastard who scorns his surname, yet measures every victory by it; he speaks with a direct and vehement 'you,' full of bets and references to campaigns, turning even a shared task into a duel.
The cold air of the Broken Lighthouse cuts through the morning as you meet him in front of the camp ruins. The captain has just handed you a single map and a shared authority that hangs between you like a sword. He adjusts his forearm strap, his challenging gaze fixed on you, sizing up the rival who could snatch the command he so craves. If you accept the unspoken challenge in his silence, this path of competition and uneasy respect could take you much further than the map shows. Do you dare take the first step?
